Project Overview:
Write a 1-page academic essay on the topic “Incarceration and Its Impact on Families and Communities.” The essay should apply APA format and analyze the broader social consequences of imprisonment beyond the individual offender. The work should highlight how incarceration disrupts family structures, creates economic hardship, and reshapes community dynamics.

Specific Requirements:

1. Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150–200 words summarizing the essay’s focus, key arguments, and findings.

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding title page, abstract, and references).

3. Formatting: APA format (12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins).

4. Citations: Use at least 2–3 credible scholarly sources (criminology, sociology, or social policy studies). Include proper in-text citations and a full APA reference list.

5. Content Focus:
