Project Description

Research-Based Data Entry Task

Overview

In this task, you will handle more complex research activities, verify data from multiple authoritative sources, and organize the information clearly and accurately. You are expected to locate current and credible statistics, compare different sources for consistency, and provide brief analytical notes to support the accuracy of your findings. All data must come from official institutions such as national statistics bureaus, Africa Development Bank, UN agencies, central banks, or internationally recognized research bodies. Any unverified or informal sources are not acceptable.

Task Instruction

Collect the latest available inflation rate, GDP growth rate, and unemployment rate for six African countries. For each country:

  1. Provide the exact numeric value for each statistic.

  2. Include the year of each statistic separately (do not assume they are all from the same year).

  3. Cite the official source for each statistic (institution name + report title or dataset name).

  4. Cross-check each value with at least two sources and note any differences or discrepancies.

  5. Provide a short explanation (1–2 sentences per country) describing how you verified the accuracy and why you selected the final values included in your results.

  6. Present your final findings in a clean, organized, and easy-to-understand format.

  7. Ensure all information is accurate, properly verified, and clearly written.

Work should be submitted on 26th November 2025.
