Overview:
The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Curator is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and updating patient medical information within the hospital’s electronic record system. The role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality across all patient records to support healthcare providers in delivering quality and efficient medical care.
Scope of Work:
Enter and update patient medical data into the hospital’s EHR system or approved databases.
Verify and cross-check patient demographics, diagnoses, and treatment information for accuracy.
Clean up duplicate, incomplete, or outdated records to maintain data integrity.
Organize patient records by department, physician, and treatment category.
Ensure that all electronic records are properly formatted, searchable, and readable.
Generate a summary report showing total updated records, data corrections made, and departmental breakdowns.
Maintain strict compliance with health data privacy and HIPAA regulations.
