This is a PhD-level take-home exam focused on the advanced principles of quantum theory and their applications in modern physics. The exam will require in-depth analytical solutions, derivations, and theoretical explanations demonstrating mastery of complex physical models and mathematical formalism.
Participants are expected to provide clear, well-structured answers supported by relevant equations, logical reasoning, and proper use of notation. Academic honesty is strictly enforced, and all work must be original. Use of unauthorized assistance or materials will result in disqualification.
The exam will cover:
• Quantum states and wave functions
• Schrödinger and Heisenberg formulations
• Quantum entanglement and measurement theory
• Perturbation theory and quantum field concepts
• Applications of quantum mechanics in particle and condensed matter physics
Exam materials will be shared upon hire. All responses must be submitted in a Word document, with each question followed immediately by its answer.
Deadline: October 28, 2025
