Project Overview:
Write a 1-page academic essay on the topic “Role of Community-Based Organizations in Promoting Social Justice and Reducing Crime.” The essay should follow APA format and critically analyze how grassroots and community-driven initiatives contribute to addressing social inequalities, preventing crime, and fostering safer communities.

Specific Requirements:

1. Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150–200 words summarizing the essay’s focus, key arguments, and findings.

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding title page, abstract, and references).

3. Formatting: APA format (12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins).

4. Citations: Use at least 2–3 credible scholarly sources (criminology, sociology, or social justice studies). Include proper in-text citations and a complete APA reference list.

5. Content Focus:

   • The role of community-based organizations (CBOs) in crime prevention.

   • Efforts to address root causes of crime (poverty, inequality, lack of opportunity).

   • Programs supporting rehabilitation, reintegration, and victim support.

   • Partnerships between CBOs, law enforcement, and policymakers.
