Job Title: Dissertation Editing & Research Data Entry Assistant
Objective:
Provide high-level support for a PhD dissertation project by handling both research data entry and academic editing. The role requires ensuring all data, citations, formatting, and written content meet APA 7th edition standards, pass plagiarism checks, and are ready for submission and defense.
Scope of Work:
Data Entry & Organization
Enter and code survey responses (minimum 1,000 entries) into Excel/SPSS.
Organize experimental/lab results into structured datasets.
Maintain a bibliographic log of all references used in the dissertation.
Cross-validate data entries against original questionnaires and raw files.
Dissertation Editing
Revise grammar, structure, and flow of all dissertation chapters (min. 250 pages).
Ensure APA 7th edition formatting for citations, tables, figures, and references.
Conduct Turnitin/iThenticate plagiarism checks (target <5% similarity).
Check consistency of terminology, acronyms, and definitions throughout.
Edit for academic tone, clarity, and logical argumentation.
Research & Compliance Support
Insert and format minimum 70 peer-reviewed references.
Build annotated bibliographies summarizing each reference’s relevance.
Ensure all work complies with IRB/university ethics policies.
Flag missing citations, incomplete arguments, or weak literature support.
Deliverables:
Excel/CSV dataset with survey responses, coded variables, and lab results.
Edited dissertation (Word, 250–300 pages) with APA-compliant references, figures, and tables.
Plagiarism report (PDF) from Turnitin/iThenticate showing <5% similarity.
Reference log (Excel) with article title, DOI, citation status (used/not used), formatting check.
PowerPoint presentation (25–30 slides) summarizing key findings for dissertation defense.
Annotated bibliography (Word, 30–40 pages).

Deadline: September 7th, 2025 (11:59 PM EST) – strict, no extensions.
All work must follow APA 7th edition style and formatting.
At least 5 charts/figures must be professionally formatted for publication.
All references must be checked for accuracy against original sources.
Each dissertation chapter (Intro, Lit Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion) must be edited, referenced, and finalized.
Deliverables must be cross-validated (Excel dataset ↔ Word dissertation ↔ PowerPoint slides).
Strict confidentiality: data, drafts, and sources cannot be shared externally.
