Overview:
The Software Testing Data Logger role involves accurately recording, maintaining, and organizing all software testing data across multiple modules. The position ensures detailed documentation of test cases, execution outcomes, and issue logs to support the Quality Assurance (QA) and development teams throughout the testing process and product release cycle.
Scope of Work:
Enter and update test case results and QA feedback into spreadsheets or testing databases.
Clean up all duplicate records and ensure data integrity.
Organize testing data systematically for easy access and traceability.
Confirm that all data entries are visible, readable, and properly formatted.
Log bugs, performance issues, and test results with corresponding reference IDs.
Verify the completeness and consistency of testing information.
Create a data report document summarizing the total number of test results, categorized by severity level.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company QA data policies.
