Project Overview:
Write a 1-page academic essay on the topic “The Anthropology of Tourism Examining the Cultural and Economic Implications of Tourism on Host Communities.” The essay should follow APA format and explore how tourism affects the social, cultural, and economic dynamics of local populations. It should discuss both the positive contributions of tourism—such as income generation and cultural exchange—and its negative consequences, including cultural commodification, environmental degradation, and social inequality.

Specific Requirements:

1. Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150–200 words summarizing the essay’s purpose, key arguments, and findings.

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding title page, abstract, and references).
