Project Overview:
Write a 1-page academic essay on the topic “The Role of Character Education in Developing Ethical and Responsible Citizens.” The essay should follow APA format and critically examine how character education contributes to moral development, social responsibility, and ethical behavior among students. The work should highlight how schools, teachers, and communities play a vital role in shaping values that promote good citizenship.

Specific Requirements:

1. Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150–200 words summarizing the essay’s focus, key arguments, and findings.

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding title page, abstract, and references).

3. Formatting: APA format (12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins).

4. Citations: Use at least 2–3 credible scholarly sources (education, ethics, or sociology). Include proper in-text citations and a complete APA reference list.

5. Content Focus:

   • Definition and purpose of character education.

   • Key values promoted (honesty, empathy, integrity, respect, and responsibility).

   • Role of educators and schools in moral and ethical development.

   • Impact of character education on citizenship and community involvement.

   • Strategies for integrating moral learning into academic curricula.
