Project Overview:
Write a 1-page academic essay on the topic “Police Militarization and Its Effect on Community Relations and Public Trust.” The essay should follow APA format and critically analyze how the increasing use of military-grade equipment, tactics, and culture in policing influences public perceptions and community-police relationships. The discussion should evaluate both the intended benefits and the unintended consequences of militarization.

Specific Requirements:

1. Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150–200 words summarizing the essay’s focus, key arguments, and findings.

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding title page, abstract, and references).

3. Formatting: APA format (12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins).

4. Citations: Use at least 2–3 credible scholarly sources (criminology, sociology, or policing studies). Include proper in-text citations and a complete APA reference list.

5. Content Focus:
