Job Title: Academic Research Data Entry & Citation Management Assistant
Objective:
Support a PhD-level dissertation project by accurately entering, organizing, and analyzing academic research sources, survey responses, and experimental results. The work includes strict adherence to APA 7th edition citation style, plagiarism-free standards, and data integrity rules to ensure the dissertation is submission-ready for a top-tier university.
Scope of Work:
Enter and organize survey responses (minimum 1,200 entries) into spreadsheets (Excel/SPSS).
Maintain structured logs of literature review sources (journal articles, books, dissertations, government reports).
Record experimental results and lab data, ensuring accurate coding and statistical tagging.
Cross-check citations and references against APA 7th edition formatting.
Build a bibliographic database (Zotero/EndNote/Mendeley) for automated referencing.
Flag missing citations, duplicate references, or plagiarism risks.
Assist with statistical data cleaning (removing incomplete/malformed survey entries).
Prepare interim datasets for analysis in SPSS, R, or Python.
Summarize findings for use in dissertation chapters.
Ensure all data is stored securely and follows university ethics committee guidelines.
Deliverables:
Excel/CSV master dataset with survey responses and coded variables.
Word literature review report (70–80 pages, APA 7th edition) including annotated bibliographies, synthesis tables, and citations.
SPSS/R dataset for statistical analysis with variable coding dictionary.
PowerPoint academic presentation (20–25 slides) for dissertation defense prep, including graphs, charts, and statistical results.
PDF ethics compliance report confirming informed consent, anonymization, and secure data handling.
Bibliographic database export (Zotero/EndNote/Mendeley).
Reference cross-check log (Excel) with article titles, DOIs, citation usage count, and status (correct/incorrect).
