Job Title: Research Data Entry & Analysis Assistant for Multinational Survey Study
Objective:
Accurately enter, clean, and analyze large volumes of research survey data collected across multiple countries. Ensure all entries are consistent, well-organized, and formatted for statistical analysis and publication. Work requires strict adherence to research ethics, confidentiality, and data accuracy standards.
Scope of Work:
Enter survey responses (from scanned forms, Google Forms, and Excel sheets) into a master SPSS/Excel database.
Standardize formats for categorical variables (e.g., Gender, Education Level, Occupation).
Code qualitative responses into thematic categories for analysis.
Perform data cleaning (remove duplicates, flag missing values, handle outliers).
Generate summary statistics (mean, median, mode, SD) for key variables.
Cross-tabulate results (e.g., Education Level vs. Income, Country vs. Satisfaction Score).
Prepare visuals (charts, graphs, heat maps) for report inclusion.
Ensure data is anonymized before final submission (remove names, IDs, and sensitive identifiers).
Provide comparative analysis between at least 3 countries.
Deliverables:
Excel master dataset with minimum 1,200 cleaned entries.
SPSS (.sav) file with coded variables and applied labels.
Word research report (15–20 pages, APA style) including: Introduction, Methodology, Data Cleaning Process, Findings, Comparative Analysis, Limitations, Recommendations, References.
PowerPoint presentation (15 slides minimum) with charts, cross-tabulation visuals, and key insights.
PDF of data coding dictionary (showing how raw responses were transformed into variables).
Special Instructions:
Deadline: September 8th, 2025 (11:59 PM EST) – no extensions.
Use consistent codes: e.g., Gender (1=Male, 2=Female, 3=Other), Education (1=Primary, 2=Secondary, 3=Tertiary, 4=Postgraduate).
Highlight missing/incomplete responses in red.
Use APA 7th edition formatting for the Word report.
Ensure plagiarism-free, original interpretation in findings (checked via Turnitin).
Charts should include bar graphs, pie charts, and at least one heat map.
Word report must include at least 10 scholarly references.
Data Sources: Raw survey forms, scanned PDFs, Google Forms data, and country demographic statistics (to be shared upon hire).
