Project Description

 Library Data Entry Clerk for Library Membership and Registration Logs

Objective:
Accurately record and update membership and registration records for all library users, ensuring data is properly organized to track borrowing rights, renewals, and membership status.

Scope of Work:

  1. Input membership and registration data from forms or provided material into spreadsheets or database templates.

  2. Record essential membership details including registration dates, categories, and expiry/renewal status.

  3. Verify accuracy of contact information and ID details.

  4. Track membership renewals, expirations, and borrowing privileges.

  5. Identify and flag incomplete or duplicate entries for correction.

  6. Prepare a Word report highlighting updates, renewals, and issues encountered.

Required Data Fields:

  • Member Full Name

  • Membership ID / Registration Number

  • Category (Student, Staff, External Member)

  • Contact Information (Phone, Email)

  • Registration Date

  • Expiry / Renewal Date

  • Borrowing Privileges (Yes / No)

  • Outstanding Fines / Dues

  • Membership Status (Active, Expired, Pending Renewal)

  • Notes / Comments

Deliverables:

  • Completed Excel spreadsheet with updated membership and registration records.

  • Word report summarizing membership updates, expirations, and flagged issues.
