Instructions for Transcribers:

1. Transcription Format – Clean Verbatim:

   • Omit filler words (e.g., "um," "uh," "you know")

   • Exclude stutters, false starts, and repetitive phrases unless medically relevant

   • Do not include background noises or non-verbal sounds unless critical to context (e.g., coughing during diagnosis)

   • Use proper grammar and complete sentences while staying faithful to the speaker’s meaning

   • Identify speakers clearly 

2. Audio Quality:

   • If audio is unclear or inaudible, mark as: [inaudible 00:00]

   • If unsure about a word or term, use: [unclear: possible term]

3. Medical Terminology:

   • Ensure correct spelling of medical terms, medications, and diagnoses

   • Cross-check for consistency in repeated terms or abbreviations

4. Confidentiality:

   • All content is protected under HIPAA guidelines

   • Do not share or discuss the recording or transcript outside of the platform

5. Deadline:

   • Submit the completed transcript within 24 hours of job acceptance

   • Late submissions may result in reassignment and affect future job eligibility
